After The Fire is a volunteer, non-profit, publicly supported organization helping people in Saratoga County who have been victims of fire in their home. The size of the fire doesn't matter; the After The Fire group is here to help. Our members are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We work with the families during and after the fire, at a pace which is comfortable with them. We help with a place to stay (free of charge for 1 night), personal care items, clothing, food, information, and emotional support. All of this is provided at no charge to the victims.
If you would like more information, to join, or to donate; please contact our members at the address and/or phone number above, or email us.
A portable fire extinguisher can save lives and property by putting out a small fire or containing it until the fire department arrives
The single most important thing you can do when it comes to fire safety in your home make sure you have at least two working smoke detectors installed.
Fire Does Not Discriminate!
It strikes randomly and destroys everything in its path.
